The RIVER'S HEART (working title) is a book of short essays and a glimpse of my life through lessons learned. Each essay stands on its own and highlights an important life moment. Together, the writings weave insights and glean experiences that tell a story about some wisdom, some failure, and always, love for humanity.
BIG WOMEN is a book in development. Three-part vignettes connect the lines of an extended family. Nessa is the matriarch and she is business-shrewd, free-spirited and risk-taking -- in the 1950s and '60s. She is hell bent on having everyone in the family do right, with consequences that trickle down through the generations. The book begins in the social and glamorous Montreal, Canada of the 1950s. It follows middle-class women in this family wrapped up in image and money until they run into Women's Lib in the late '60s.
